Shkmeruli
Cut the chicken into pieces, add some salt, pepper, sunflower oil and place in the over on 200C for 20 minutes.
Place the cream in a separate bowl, add milk, some thinly chopped garlic, salt, a pinch of pepper and mix them all up. As Chkmeruli is served on Ketsi (clay pan) – which preserve the warmth for long, we have to heat the Ketsi, take the roasted chicken pieces out from the oven and place them on the Ketsi. Pour the already prepared milk and walnut mix on top of the pieces, add some butter and send it back in the oven for 5 more minutes. The dish is ready to serve.
