Knead thick dough from water and flour. Almost the same consistency as the dough for khinkali. Slice half of dough on 1-2 mm. the thickness and after slice on a 2x3 cm. pieces. The second half of dough slice on a 4x4 cm. cubes and fry in melted butter. Boil long slices of dough and don’t pour the water. Sauté finely chopped onion in melted butter, transfer to the pan with long dough slices, add fried dough cubes. Mix buttermilk with boiled water from the dough and pour into saucepan.
